In the news: Mercedes today has revealed its much-rumored four-door convertible, the Ocean Drive concept, which will be on display at the North American Auto Show in Detroit early next month. The top of the line drop-top dream car is described as a one-off creation, but recent media reports suggest it may see production in a year.
Apart from the four doors, the unique concept features a very large and upright radiator grille, LED headlamps and taillights, and two-tone paintwork. The long side-window opening is not interrupted by a B-pillar or window frames.

Mitsubishi has revealed the 2008 Lancer sedan, which will be on display at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. The new-generation Lancer models will hit Mitsubishi dealerships in early next year.
The 2008 Lancer is based on a new global platform that also forms the foundation of the new Mitsubishi Outlander SUV. Sporting a longer wheelbase and wider track than the previous model, it is slightly shorter overall length and weighs 3,109 lbs.
